Bat City Review is published annually. Please submit your work via our online submissions manager. You can access the submissions manager by clicking here. We accept and read submissions from June 1 to November 15, with responses sent primarily in late autumn.

Simultaneous submissions are fine, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere. Unless additional work is requested, please submit only once per genre per reading period.

Contributors receive a copy of the issue in which their work appears as compensation. Individual rights revert to authors upon publication. Before submitting, you may want to familiarize yourself with an issue of Bat City Review.

POETRY

Please submit three to five poems, including your name and contact information on each page. Feel free to include a brief cover letter—no need to list every prior publication or give an extensive biography.
